CBD Oil and how Veterans can benefit from the medical use of a plant

A letter to the editor from, Donald G Parent. Vietnam Veteran.

http://ptsdhotline.com/

George,

Your post mentions Veterans and Suicide Rates.

Here is some encouraging info about help for Veterans Suicide Rates.

This info needs to get out to as many vets as we can. I hope you will help me spread the word.

Through my research for my Veterans Help Books I have been fortunate to meet some top people in the field of Veterans Health.

A number of years ago I got to interact with Colonel (Ret) Dr. Mike Lewis. At that time he was in charge of clinics at the Pentagon.

Dr. Lewis is a brain researcher and now after retiring from the Army is President of the Brain Health Education and Research Institute.

The issues of raising suicides in both Active Military and Veterans was becoming an epidemic.

He found an interesting correlation between the brain and the properties of Omega-3 Fatty Acids.

http://ptsdhotline.com/

It was so interesting that he developed a Protocol using high dosage Omega-3 fatty acids in high quality Fish Oil. The results were huge and the Protocol also gave great results for PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and much more.

The brain is over 65 % fat so you can call me a Fathead any time you like😊
Now here is where it gets even better.

I started hearing about CBD Oil from the hemp plant. I began doing research and found that CBD is loaded with Omega 3 and 6 along with a 10,000-year history of human use both ingesting it and making stuff from it such as rope, paper, and even Henry Ford making car bodies from it that were stronger than steel!!!

He also fueled the cars from ethanol made from hemp.

Why hemp got put on history’s back burner is a story of greed that is too involved to go into on this post. I would be glad to give you more info later.

Back to CBD Oil. Once I had learned about CBD Oil having a high Omega 3 and 6 content I reached out to Dr. Lewis asking him his opinion.

He got right back to me saying he personally takes it every day and most of his patients are now doing the same.

He stated that the most he hears back is that it is “Life Changing” not only for the above issues such as Suicide, PTSD, and other veterans issues but so much more.
It is easier to list what it doesn’t fix as it works on the mitochondria of the cells healing us from the cellular level and up.

He is so excited about CBD Oil that he now lectures on its benefits all over the world.
George, please do some research on this. I would be happy to point you in the right direction.

Out of my fifty-year learning curve with what can help our veterans, this is by far the most dramatic all-natural healer I have ever found. It is not a drug!

This is not a commercial for CBD Oil. There are none of those horrible lists of side effects we hear at the end of the commercials from Big Pharma’s toxic drugs.

CBD Oil is going viral so I just want to be sure that the vets I work with get it from a reputable company that has up to date lab reports and are selling full spectrum oil.

I can hook you up to the most amazing testimonials I have ever read before.

A good way we can support indie urban culture is to find a local business who educates the community about non-mainstream issues, such as cannabis education and anti-recidivism programs for youth.

MOTAVATION Clothing does this!

You probably wouldn't think that a clothing company from a small town in the middle of California would be educating people about things like this:

On August 3,1992, Phillip Clark Watts stabbed Lawrence Harrison "Hoss", 82 years old, 63 times in Lawrence's home before stealing his social security check, clothes and tools. There were 26 of the stab wounds in his face which blackened his eyes.

Both his eyes were gouged out with the knife blinding him while they fought. He was fighting for his life. There were also bite marks on his back. His injuries were so extensive that his body was grotesquely mutilated.

Watts was convicted of murder in the 1st degree and was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison plus one extra year for using a knife. He will have only served 23 years when he is considered for parole.

We the undersigned STRONGLY OPPOSE PAROLE FOR Phillip Clark Watts. Justice demands he serve the full prison term given to him at the time of his sentence.

Thank You For Your Service - What does that mean?

5 ways to say “Thank you for your Service” to a Veteran

Do you mean it when you say it?

What do you mean when you say it?

This blog is to generate discussion and bridge the gap of communication between civilians and Veterans. Let's seek to understand.

CaliBred sponsored blog

We would like to say, “Thank You For Your Service” by being active members of our community and preserving our American way of life.

1.     Volunteer at the local VA Hospital. You can go and spend time with a Veteran once every couple of weeks. Maybe you can help with general tasks around the hospital in your chosen field, while gaining much needed work experience? This is a great way to enrich the lives of others in your community.

2.     Helping Hands can go a long way. Offer your help to a Veteran once per month with general tasks. Can you do something useful for a Veteran around their home? Are you able to paint a fence, or give them some assistance with a general home-improvement project? Offer your help.

3.     Read books and tell motivational stories at local schools. Ensure that you go through the proper channels at a local school and read books for the youth. Which local school has a program that can use volunteers? You can be a good example for a young student seeking a mentor. You can start a lifelong, meaningful relationship in your community too. Don’t be afraid to be a Leader.

4.     Start a community “Area Beautification” project. You can think of the area as your personal memorial to U.S. military Veterans. Give the place a nickname, and even try to get city officials involved if you can. We live to honor those who have sacrificed our way of living. Let’s preserve our beauty so it can inspire future generations of Americanism.

5.     Teach. Coach. Mentor. Sometimes it can be hard to ask for help when people expect you to be a hero. Offer your Digital Technology help to a Veterans organization. Teach basic computer skills at a group like the American Legion, Team RWB, or similar Veterans Service Organizations. Sending an e-mail, setting up a Facebook, and small tasks like these might be difficult for some people in our community.

This is how you say, “Thank You For Your Service” to a Veteran. We offer value in the community that we live in. We set the example. We take on Leadership roles. We help people who need it most. We preserve the American way of life.

CaliBred knows that Memorial Day and Veteran’s Day have different meanings, but they honor the same community of people who have served in the U.S. military and their families. Our hearts go out to anyone who has lost their loved one in the U.S. military. We know your family feels their sacrifice daily, and we will not forget their willingness to serve in our military to protect our country.

We hope that when a civilian says, “Thank You For Your Service.” They actually mean it by doing something proactive and useful in their community. Let’s start by helping the military Veterans in the state of California get access to the resources that they have earned.
